SCFC Calls on SCLA to Leave National Association

In the past few days, our fellow Freedom Caucuses across the country have called on their respective states’ library associations to leave the national American Library Association over their newly elected President. 

That newly elected President of the ALA is Emily Drabinski: a self-proclaimed lesbian Marxist. Knowing her political and sexual ideology, what will her priorities be? In what direction will she lead? Drabinski has blamed climate change, white supremacy, and class war for getting us to where we are today. How does she propose we fix these alleged problems? Libraries. 

With pornography already flooding our school libraries for children to see and public libraries force-feeding LGBTQ+ leftist nonsense and CRT racism down the throats of minors, the recent election of Drabinski is incredibly concerning for the future of the state library associations who are members of the national group, including South Carolina.

The South Carolina Freedom Caucus joins our fellow conservative fighters in Freedom Caucuses across the country in calling on our own Library Association to immediately leave the ALA. 

The ALA’s values, as defined by Emily Drabinski, do not reflect the values of most South Carolinians. Their commitment to the radical left’s agenda should not be aided through South Carolina’s Library Association membership any longer. Nor should any taxpayer funds be used to propagate this agenda.
