For Immediate Release: SCFC Statement on the Resignation of RJ May
RJ May's resignation from the South Carolina House of Representatives is long overdue. The people of District 88 deserve true and honorable representation. While we welcome this resignation, we strongly believe that the SC House should have acted to expel RJ May after he was indicted for such heinous crimes. Our hearts are with his victims and his innocent family and we pray for swift justice as this ugly chapter in the South Carolina House of Representatives comes to a close.

You discredit yourselves talking about "his victims" since he has not been convicted. "An attorney for May argued that someone had hacked into his accounts and targeted the 38-year-old father of two for political reasons." I hope that his trial reveals the truth and that the Almighty gives him the strength to endure it and heals and saves his soul and those of his alleged victims whatever the outcome.
