Mandate from the People
In light of the overwhelming victories secured across the country and in our state by Republicans, voters clearly spoke and gave their government a mandate to legislate like Republicans instead of kowtowing to the woke left, tax and spend liberals, and the special interests.
President Trump’s winning message, which is shared by the South Carolina Freedom Caucus and voters alike, is to cut taxes, improve our infrastructure, decrease regulation and spending, shrink the size of government, protect individual rights, and end the woke mind virus which has infected our institutions of higher learning and government schools.
The SCFC challenges our colleagues in the now expanded super majorities in both chambers to listen to the people and prioritize their needs over the special interests, and lead boldly on the issues the people care about.
The SCFC will be releasing our legislative agenda for the 2025 session in the coming days which will be hyper-focused on the mandate delivered to us clearly by our constituents.
We will continue to put our people over politics and the special interests, and we will continue to fight to make their lives better and more free from government intrusion every day. The SCFC invites our colleagues to join the team and deliver for the people who spoke loudly and clearly Tuesday at the ballot box.

What we expect from the SCFC is for you to remember who elected you and why we elected you. We expect you to abide by the Constitutions of the USA and South Carolina. We expect you to pass laws which benefit we, the people, and to vote against laws that benefit corporate lobbies and political power bases. In appreciation of you honestly, transparently representing us, we will support you and fight along side you. We realize that there are obstacles in your path-- the opposing party and even members of our own party, often known as RINOs and neocons. Those members in cooperation with the opposing party belong to a group known as the Uni-party. They do not play nicely and would just as soon knife their constituents in the back. They believe they are better than us and that government is supposed to control the people, instead of the people controlling government. You do not have an easy task in front of you and perhaps some will give in to the Uni-party or resign from office. There is a cost to being a public servant, but the rewards can be immensely rewarding. We hope and pray you are up to the job at hand and we will always stand you with. Let's get going and move SC upwards. With your hard work and our support, hopefully SC will no longer be known as the most liberal Red State. Thank you for your efforts and sacrifice. First step is to marginalize the RINOs who have hamstrung even our supermajority on issues like real school choice. Only then will I believe we have a true republican majority!
