South Carolina Freedom Caucus Statement on the Arrest of RJ May
The South Carolina Freedom Caucus stands firmly for the rule of law and the protection of children. Representative RJ May has been expelled from our caucus. He has not been involved in the operations of the caucus since August of 2024. We call for his immediate resignation from the House.
Although formal charges have not been made public yet, all indications are that these indictments will be for child sex abuse materials. These crimes are heinous and we expect that they will be fully investigated.
We pray justice is served.

All the republicans except for Rob Harris voted for SC 62 School choice. The results on children will be no different than what RJ May did.
School Choice will corrupt all the SC Students . This is an UN agenda and if you look at #5 is gender equity. Why are we having so many porn books in schools and libraries? They are pushing obscenity to destroy children. What is worse It is ignorant people like you are providing the vehicle for this disaster making people believe that this corrupt money is going to help students achieve a higher education standard. He was charged but not yet convicted? What happened to innocent until proven guilty? You ousted him from the caucus and are publicly calling for his resignation from the House based on an accusation?
