Assistant Majority Leader and Dems Team-up to Defeat Freedom Caucus Members

We've long suspected moderate Republicans of working with Democrats and lobbyists to take out members of the SC Freedom Caucus (the most conservative members of the SC General Assembly). The circumstantial evidence was overwhelming but now we have concrete proof. 

Exclusively reported by FitsNews,  S.C. House assistant majority leader Jay West was recently caught calling members of the SC Freedom Caucus "crazies" and urging lobbyists to raise money to defeat us.

During a panel discussion hosted on Tuesday (January 16, 2024) by the Carolina Natural Gas Association, assistant S.C. House majority leader Jay West assailed members of the Freedom Caucus as “crazies” – and urged a roomful of special interests to assist him and other uniparty leaders in recruiting candidates to run against them (and raise money to defeat them) in this year’s legislative elections.

“Y’all need to help us get rid of them,” West told the group, according to multiple sources who attended the panel discussion.

West proceeded to urge the assembled special interests to “raise more money” to defeat fiscal conservatives in the upcoming legislative races so as to elect “more normal people in Columbia.”

If that sounds familiar, it's because the same line of attack is used by liberals like Joy Behar and Kamala Harris to attack President Trump and his supporters. In fact, Jay West and Joy Behar were using the same message at nearly the same time, albeit a couple hundred miles away.

“What could happen if Trump ever became, God forbid, president again? And what are you going to do to stop the crazies?" said Behar, while speaking with Kamala Harris on the View.  “I am scared as heck!” Vice President Harris replied. 

Coincidence or coordinated? Who knows? But Jay West is a former liberal Democrat who ran for State Senate on a liberal platform.

Jay West was joined in his crusade against conservatives by  Democrat Senator Brad Hutto and Democrat Representative Joe Jefferson. 

According to FitsNews, “Hutto actually told the lobbyists in attendance they needed to “do a better job” of raising money to help uniparty leaders get rid of ‘the crazies.’”

Friends, the Columbia Cartel hates what we stand for. They despise that we refused to join their Good ol Boy Club. But ultimately, they detest the conservative values of you, our constituents, and the fact that we fight for what we believe in.

We're never going to outraise them, but we don't have to when truth and conviction are on our side. We just need to raise enough money to get our conservative message out. Any amount you can give will help us beat back the ongoing attacks from the Swamp. 

3) Pray. Pray for wickedness to be exposed, and evildoers to see the error of their ways. Pray for conservative challengers to emerge that will defeat members of the Columbia Cartel in June. And Pray that members of the Freedom Caucus stay strong in the face of evil.
