Thanks for standing up for the rights of law-abiding gun owners. South Carolina Republican legislators who vote to trounce on our gun rights will find themselves looking for other employment after November. "...shall not be infringed."

I am actually VERY disappointed in the freedom caucus for not concurring with the senate on the changes. I admire what they are trying to do, but it is poor tactic. We need to take lessons from the enemies playbook. True, almost all the senates changes were not good, but the RINO senate is not going to budge. The congress bill gets the citizens 90% of their God given rights and the senate version is 70%. But right now we only have 20% of our rights via a permission slip. 70% of our rights are way better than 20%. We can work on the other 30% later. Some of it through the courts, as the senate version created 2 classes of citizens, and that could be ruled on by the courts. The tyrants eroded our rights over decades. We will not succeed trying to capture it all back in one foul swoop. We need to erode tyranny to conquer it, not just stomp our feet in frustration. Now we are in the pathetic situation of being oppressed for a minimum of another 2 years. And one would be dumb to think that enough voters are paying attention to primary any of the bad actors in the senate, 90% of constituents vote party lines and for the incumbent. If the senate doesn’t budge (which they will not) before the end of the session; the house needs to approve and pass the senates poor changes. Once we have good base law then take aspects of it to the courts and next session put fourth amendments to erode poor policy in order to remove some of the trash.
